My first large 3D project
A month or two ago, I stumbled onto 3D printed nerf blasters on youtube. The hobby had advanced beyond just simple mods or small inline springers. There were advanced, rapid, high-tech flywheels that for the low price of $500, were available to everyone. Dozens of free designs that were built around common, reusable hardware and 3D printed frames and mechanisms. I wanted to start right away with an insanely expensive and difficult build, but I rationalized it down to a sci-fi springer pistol after checking my bank account. One $50 hardware kit and 2 weeks of printing later, I had a nerf blaster with questionable reliability.
